rainy rainy

So I am in the middle of my third week in Stavanger! I really do love this town! There is such a calmness that is here, I am used to lots of noise even though I did not live in a huge town back in the states; but here, it seems silent. Given I hear a car drive by if the window is open, or a dog bark every once in awhile.. but I have yet to hear sirens. It manages to rain a lot here! Statistically it rains 60% of the time.... I finally bought an umbrella yesterday! Took a bit of digging around at Europris to find one, but with some help I now own one thankfully! There is this saying here: "there isn't anything called bad weather, just as long as you have the right clothing!"

This past weekend Ole and I went to see The Dark Knight, It was amazing! Theaters are different here as well, besides the 107NOK(20 USD) per person price tag to get in, there is assigned seating! But it was so cool, the movie had Norwegian subtitles. I kept missing what someone would say and would try to read the subs, haha, it was great though!
